Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary

The position as QA Specialist is newly established. The role will be based in our HQ in Copenhagen and will be part of our R&D department, which includes the Engineering team. Additionally, the role will be having close collaboration with the Product team. The role will be reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, Joy Lazari.

The overall responsibility will be ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications through structured testing and quality assurance processes. The objective is to enhance the stability, usability, and performance of our software products by identifying and mitigating defects early in the development lifecycle.

This is a full-time position based in Copenhagen. Some travel may be required for company events or collaboration with remote teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting functional testing for web and mobile applications
• Performing smoke tests and regression testing
• Creating and maintaining test documentation, including checklists and test cases
• Reporting and managing bugs using Jira
• Collaborating with the QA team to improve and maintain the test framework
• Acting as a quality advocate throughout the development lifecycle, from refinement to release
• Working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met

Key Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in software quality assurance
• Hands-on experience with functional, smoke, and regression testing
• Familiarity with test case management tools and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
• Educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is a plus
• Basic knowledge of test automation frameworks is a plus
