Overview

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Dublin or Cork team. This role requires expertise in European data centres and mission-critical projects.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead and manage medium-sized projects, ensuring designs meet industry and regulatory standards.
• Client-facing role in electrical design, coordination, and engineering project services.
• Develop and specify control systems, instruments, and operational systems for buildings.
• Conduct surveys, tests, and reports on existing electrical installations.
• Ensure compliance with functional specifications and client requirements.
• Provide direct consultation to clients and make key project decisions.
• Represent the company in technical meetings with clients, teams, and contractors.
• Perform engineering calculations to ensure compliance with legal and industry standards.
• Oversee and validate work from Trainees, Graduates, and Engineers.

Role Requirements

• BEng, MSc, or equivalent industry experience.
• MCIBSE/MIEE membership or HNC/HND with relevant experience.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Proven experience in electrical specification design and drawings across various buildings.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and IT-based calculation tools.
• Familiarity with BS standards.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Experience in consulting or construction preferred.
• Understanding of international working practices within a global consultancy.
• Commitment to ethical and professional industry standards.
