Job description

The Institute of Eye Surgery (IoES) is a private sub speciality ophthalmic clinic that operates in a fast-paced environment. With multiple clinics located throughout Ireland, we aim to provide excellent patient satisfaction and deliver efficient processes to exceed patient expectations.

Due to a new clinic location, we are recruiting for an experienced Administrator to join our busy operations team.

The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a fast paced office environment, possess excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, the ability able to work well under pressure while handling large volumes of phone calls per day.

Job description

  • Deal with a high-level volume of calls in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a culture of patient and customer care and ensure an ongoing focus on improving the quality of the patient experience
  • Managing a busy clinical & surgical appointment schedule
  • Processing insurance billing forms and invoices for all surgical and clinical procedures
  • Updating our practice management system with appointment and patient details
  • Scheduling clinical and surgical appointments efficiently
  • Accurate data entry of patient information into various systems
  • Produce a high standard of written communication to medical professionals and patients
  • Working to strict process protocols to ensure patients receive the best standard of care
  • Ensure all patients receive the highest level of service from IoES before and after their consultations and surgeries

Requirements:

  • Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced and changeable working environment
  • Exceptional time keeping
  • Excellent at communicating over the phone and handling phone systems
  • Strong computer skills and experience with tracking and recording information and updating customer profiles/accounts
  • Must be flexible
  • Excellent attention to detail is essential
  • Will have strong organisational, administrative and analytical skills
  • Must have the ability to work effectively under one’s own initiative as well as contribute within a team environment
  • Must have a full driving licence as travel may be required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €29,000.00 per year
