Summary/Objective

Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, this role provides general support with a variety of activities and related tasks for the Human Resources team. The HR Coordinator role requires the ability to handle extremely sensitive, confidential information is of paramount importance. The position requires a high degree of professionalism, customer service, task-orientation, discretion, initiative, flexibility, and dependability. 

 Essential Functions

  • Assist in recruiting tasks as needed. 
  • Perform various onboarding duties including paperwork audit, communication with other departments (payroll and benefits)
  • Respond to internal and external requests for various employee data reports via ADP Workforce Now
  • Respond to employment verification requests.
  • Initiate and assist with employee engagement activities
  • Complete data entry in ADP system and other platforms
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Coordinate and assist in employee engagement activities.
  • Assist other entities with compliance needs, such as posting Federal and State mandatory employment- and labor-related posters
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 2 years of Human Resources related experience
  • Working knowledge of O365 programs (Word, Excel, Outlook,PowerPoint)

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time position.  Days and hours of work are variable and based on business need.   Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

 

Physical Requirements

This position is indoors.  Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.   May be asked to lift approximately 25 lbs.  Exposure to moderate noise and light, i.e business office with computers, phone, printers, light foot traffic.
