Do you have previous accounting or payroll experience? Are you familiar with Sage accounting software? Advantage Resourcing is hiring an experienced Payroll Clerk in Scott, LA. We are searching for an individual who radiates positivity and professionalism, embraces continuous learning, and is driven to take ownership of responsibilities.
Pay: $17 - $20 per hour
1st Shift Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday
Payroll Clerk Responsibilities:
- Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and communicate with supervisors about employee time tickets and payroll details.
- Maintain confidential employee records and payroll documentation.
- Set up new employee information in accounting software.
- Accurately calculate employee time tickets based on customer requirements.
- Perform data entry tasks and handle other administrative payroll-related duties.
Requirements: Previous payroll experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel; strong attention to detail and customer service, time management, organization, and communication skills.
