Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, professional and friendly Server/Bartender to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable experience every time they visit us.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, and wine
- Manage cash handling, including operating a cash register and handling cash and credit transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and making recommendations
- Upsell and promote menu items and special deals
- Handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
- Manage guest relations and ensure that all guests feel valued and respected
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Adhere to all food handling and safety standards
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that all guests receive prompt and attentive service
Skills
- Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume environment
- Strong knowledge of mixology and the ability to create unique cocktails
- Excellent customer service and guest relations skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register
- Proficiency with a point-of-sale system
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling and safety standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to provide exceptional hospitality and sales skills
- Experience in the culinary industry or a related field
- Ability to assist with food and beverage service as needed
- Knowledge of local and national sales and promotions
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
