SALARY RANGE: $44,770 - $59,400 (commensurate with experience

Position Summary:
The Coordinator, Grants serves a critical role on our fundraising team. The ideal candidate must be organized, give great attention to detail and have an understanding of the grant lifecycle for both public and private grant funding sources. This candidate must be honest, trustworthy and abide by strict guidelines, and be able to deal effectively and politely with all constituent groups.
The Coordinator, Grants will work closely with the Director and other members of the Development and Communication s team to broaden and deepen support for the organization.

Position Responsibilities:
- Prospecting public and private opportunities using Candid and Grants.gov, drafting proposal responses, maintaining grants calendar, guiding internal processes and systems, reporting on awarded grants, and coordinating funder visits.
- Steward portfolio of private grantors to strengthen and grow All Chicago's donor relationships.
- Prepare templates for Program and Finance Teams to complete for grant applications.
- Ensure the integrity of grant record-keeping for public and private grants on SharePoint.
- Complete grant application and reporting documentation and information gathering tasks.
- Prepare grant award dashboard for newly awarded grants to be shared cross-functionally.
- Alongside Director, Grants, collaborate with All Chicago's Finance and Monitoring and Capacity Building Teams to manage timelines and performance of reporting.
- Steward donor relationships with private grantors and maintain donor records within All Chicago’s constituent relationship management system (Raiser’s Edge NXT).
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least one to two years experience in public or private grants work; internship experiences are applicable.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams. Familiarity with Monday.com and Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, seek solutions, meet deadlines, maintain data accuracy, and respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly collaborative style; positive attitude; commitment to continuous improvement and strong work ethic grounded in honesty and integrity.
- Ability to effectively interact, work, and collaborate with people of various cultural backgrounds and promote an environment of inclusivity.
- Self-motivated and efficient, with strong time-management skills.
