Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of technical accounting principles, including GAAP, and have extensive experience with quickbooks accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining the financial health of our organization and will involve handling accounts payable, budgeting, and general accounting tasks.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of the company's accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Utilize accounting software (Quickbooks) to record financial transactions and generate reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Assist in preparing for audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software Quickbooks.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members across various departments.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus, but not required based on experience.
