Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Residential Electrician Team Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead a team of electricians in executing residential projects with a focus on safety, efficiency, and superior workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of residential electricians, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
- Project Execution: Manage and participate in electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects in residential settings, adhering to electrical codes and regulations.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to team members, assisting with troubleshooting and solving complex electrical issues.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect work completed by team members to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with homeowners to address questions, concerns, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety meetings, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among team members.
- Inventory Management: Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure adequate inventory levels of materials and equipment needed for residential projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5 years) as a residential electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with homeowners, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification as a Journeyman Electrician preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
