Home Health Aide Opportunities with Premier

We're looking for reliable and compassionate home health aides and personal care assistants to join our team in Queens. As a member of our team, you'll play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our clients and helping them maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing personal care services to patients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assisting with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients
• Administering medications as directed by healthcare professionals
• Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel
• Providing emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients

Requirements:

• Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality
• Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed
• Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
• Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills
• Must be at least 18 years old
