Your Mission
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization’s Salesforce CRM platform to support operational efficiency, data integrity, and informed decision-making. This role ensures the smooth functioning of Salesforce through system maintenance, user support, data management, and process automation. The Administrator will work closely with program teams to enhance data accessibility, create insightful reports and dashboards, and develop streamlined workflows that align with organizational goals. Additionally, they will provide training, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices to maximize Salesforce’s impact across the organization.

As a Salesforce Administrator, you will:
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce CRM to align with organizational objectives and program needs.
- Work closely with program teams, Business Analysts, and leadership to ensure Salesforce configurations align with nonprofit-specific workflows, including donor management, case management, and program tracking.
- Maintain and configure Salesforce, ensuring seamless integration with other tools, smooth operation, and timely system updates.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical staff to ensure seamless adoption and usage of Salesforce across departments.
- Provide timely technical support to users, addressing issues and troubleshooting system problems efficiently.
- Conduct staff training, create user guides, and ensure best practices are followed to enhance system proficiency.
- Manage data quality through regular audits, de-duplication, and validation processes.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies, controlling access levels and maintaining system confidentiality.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into program performance, donor engagement, and organizational impact.
- Develop automation processes to improve workflow efficiency and data visualization.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for user account management, system workflows, and data entry guidelines.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance Salesforce functionalities to improve user experience and data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with program teams, Business Analysts, and leadership to design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions that align with nonprofit-specific workflows (including donor management, case management, and program tracking) and support future organizational growth, ensuring holistic improvements driven by a comprehensive understanding of the system and business processes.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, Data, Computer Science, or related field required.
- Salesforce Administration Certification required
- 2-5 years’ experience in data analysis or program evaluation, preferably in a nonprofit organization.
- Experience in managing multi-stakeholder Salesforce environments, ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify trends and insights from data.
- Ability to analyze and translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring Salesforce is configured to directly support program goals and operational workflows.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, with intermediate-level Excel required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear documentation and training materials.
- Proven ability to take initiative and work independently, while also collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams.
- High degree of creativity, energy, and initiative, with the ability to connect program needs with data-driven insights.
- Experience documenting processes and workflows, including SOP development and user training.
- Additional Salesforce certifications
- Bilingual in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) and/or Spanish
