Job Description:
We are seeking a highly personable and enthusiastic Boutique Hotel Front Desk Reception Ambassador to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a memorable and seamless check-in and check-out process. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and warmth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival, check them in, issue room keys, and provide information about the hotel’s amenities, services, and policies.
- Assist guests with check-out procedures, process payments, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Answer phones, manage reservations, and provide information about local attractions, dining options, and transportation.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns with empathy and efficiency, ensuring their stay is as enjoyable as possible.
- Maintain an organized and tidy front desk area, ensuring all materials and information are up-to-date.
- Utilize the hotel’s computer systems for booking, modifying reservations, and managing guest accounts.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and to address any guest needs or issues promptly.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven customer service experience, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests and Team members.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including reservation software and basic office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; further education or experience in hospitality is a plus
