Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy of financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
• Process accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in grant reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance.
• Support monthly and year-end closings, and provide assistance during external audits.
• Review financial transactions to identify potential areas for process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably within the non-profit sector.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Knowledge of GAAP principles and grant accounting is highly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
