Our client is a well established CNC precision machining and fabrication business located in Fort Wayne. The business is being primed for explosive growth and to support this growth we are seeking a passionate and driven sales professional to join our growing team as an Outside Sales Representative.
As one of the first lines of customer interaction you are responsible for growing our customer base, fostering strong client relationships, and driving sales in CNC machining, fabrication, and engineering processes, including CAD, CAM, 5-axis machining, surfacing, prototypes, production lathe machining, large-scale weldments, Swiss-style machining, and more.
While this is a Hunter role, we are also building an awesome marketing engine that works to build our market presence and generate leads to support and enhance your own prospecting efforts.
Responsibilities

Base range plus commission of $50,000 - $100,000

Responsibilities
- Actively prospect, network, and engage in proactive cold calling to generate leads and reach potential clients
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify and pursue new business opportunities in precision machining, fabrication, and engineering
- Leverage your knowledge of CNC machining, fabrication, and engineering processes to educate clients on our capabilities, including CAD, CAM, 5-axis machining, surfacing, prototypes, production lathe machining, large-scale weldments, Swiss-style machining, and more
- Cultivate and maintain strong, enduring customer relationships through regular communication, meetings, and presentations
- Liaise with our production and engineering teams to ensure timely and quality service delivery
- Manage and update customer accounts, maintain an organized sales pipeline, and track sales-related data using CRM systems
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotes customized to address each client's specific needs
- Skillfully negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure new business and maximize profitability
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrated hunter sales experience required
- Precision machining, fabrication, or engineering industry experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills,
- Proficient with technology
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities
- Positive, can do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
- Base salary unlimited commission.
