We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances. Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
- Assemble and install new appliances as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal appliance performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding appliance operation and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive a box truck to transport tools and equipment to job sites as necessary.
Skills
- Proven experience as an appliance repair technician or in a similar field service role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of repairs needed and services provided.
- Experience in equipment repair and assembly is highly desirable.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus for transporting appliances when required.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple service calls efficiently.
