As an Office Assistant at Contreraz Smog and Auto Repair, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, customer service duties, and support functions that help keep our shop running efficiently.
**Customer Service:** Greet customers warmly, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and repairs. Provide excellent customer service both in-person and over the phone.
**Appointment Scheduling:** Manage and schedule service appointments using our booking system. Confirm and follow up on appointments to ensure a smooth workflow.
**Administrative Support:** Perform general office tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records of service orders and customer information.
**Billing and Invoicing:** Prepare and process invoices, handle payments, and manage billing inquiries. Ensure accuracy in financial transactions and record-keeping.
**Documentation:** Prepare and file documentation related to service repairs, smog certifications, and other administrative paperwork as required.
**Communication:** Liaise between customers and repair technicians to provide updates on vehicle status, repair progress, and any additional services needed.
**Maintenance of Office Environment:** Ensure the office area is clean, organized, and well-maintained. Handle any minor office repairs or coordinate with maintenance personnel as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative or office management training is a plus.
- Proven experience in an office or customer service role, preferably in an automotive or repair setting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers).
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly and professional demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
