Role Summary

EcoMap is seeking a part-time bookkeeper and office manager to support staff in day-to-day financial and facilities operations. The Bookkeeper/Office Manager handles the daily posting of financial transactions, prepares financial reports, reconciles bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers, and ensures records are accurate and taxes and bills are paid. They are also responsible for payroll and benefits, building related tasks such as maintenance and supplies, and general administrative support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day accounting operations, with functional responsibility for general ledger maintenance, A/P, A/R, reconciliations, revenue, deposits, etc.
  • Assists with weekly and monthly financial reporting; P L Statement, Cash Flow analysis, Budgeting, General Ledger review
  • Maintain proper accounting records
  • Assist with annual company budgeting process and coordination of the annual audit and tax filing
  • Support revenue billing and receipting
  • Provide logistical support for meetings and events
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service people to upgrade building facilities and schedule repairs
  • Other duties as assigned


Skills and Qualifications

  • 3 years of prior bookkeeping experience
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred
  • Strong problem solving skills and proven ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Good communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience collaborating effectively with others, both internally and externally
  • Proficiency in the use of spreadsheets, word processing, and databases
  • Experience with Ramp and Gusto, a bonus


Compensation Range: $22-28 per hour, 15-20 hours per week
