Everett High School Summer Remote Learning Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Remote Learning Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the
implementation of summer remote learning programs within the Everett Public Schools district.
This role involves coordinating virtual learning environments, ensuring alignment with district
goals, and supporting students in remote learning settings. The Coordinator will work closely
with instructional staff to enhance the effectiveness of online learning and ensure student
engagement and academic success.
This program emphasizes the importance of collaboration, innovative technology use, and
proactive support systems to ensure all students receive high-quality education, regardless of
location. The Remote Learning Coordinator will lead efforts to maintain strong communication
with teachers, students, and families to promote a positive remote learning experience.
EPS is seeking one remote learning coordinator to lead the remote learning initiatives, to
enhance remote learning experiences through strategic planning, training, and support. The
Coordinator will work closely with other district leadership and stakeholders to ensure the
successful implementation of remote learning strategies.
WORKING TIMES:
? 23 Days of summer school (July 1–3 and July 7–August 1, 2025)
? Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
? 40 additional hours for lesson planning, grading, and curriculum development
? Required training dates June 17 and June 18th 8 AM-3:00 PM (Dates tentative based
on last day of school)
REMUNERATION:
? $40/hour total stipend up to a total maximum stipend of $5,900

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Oversee the district's planning, implementation, and evaluation of summer remote
learning programs for credit recovery at the high school.
? Monitor and assess student participation and progress in remote learning environments,
providing timely feedback and support where needed.
? Collaborate with department heads, principals, and other educational leaders to ensure
remote learning is aligned with district goals and standards.
? Communicate regularly with parents and students to address questions and concerns
and provide ongoing support for remote learning.
? Implement strategies to ensure that students with diverse learning needs, including
special education and English learners, are supported effectively in remote
environments.
? Analyze and report on student performance, engagement, and feedback to recommend
adjustments to remote learning strategies.
? Coordinate virtual events, office hours, and other remote learning support activities for
students and families.
? Participate in district and building meetings and committees to ensure remote learning
initiatives align with broader educational objectives.
? Communicate with the Principal, Assistant Principals, and Manager of Extended
Learning about any student concerns.
? Communicate with guidance and building administration on the progress of students'
program completion.
? Perform such other duties and assume all other responsibilities that may be assigned by
the Principals, Assistant Principals, Superintendent, Assistant Superintendents, and the
Manager of Extended Learning.
REQUIREMENTS:
? Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or a related field
? Massachusetts Teaching Licensure
? SEI Endorsement
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
? Master’s Degree in Education or related field
? 3 years of experience in education, including remote learning or instructional
coordination
? Current EPS employee in good standing
? Previous experience in Extended Learning programs (after-school, summer learning,
Acceleration Academies, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
? Coursework in History Instruction and/or Social Studies Pedagogy
? Foreign Language Proficiency
