The HR Operations Associate supports core HR functions and plays a critical role in maintaining the smooth execution and compliance of HR operations. This role is responsible for administrative tasks, data accuracy, benefits administration, and HR system maintenance. The successful candidate will serve as a backup for payroll operations and ensure compliance with all HR regulations and policies.

The successful candidate will serve as a backup for payroll operations and ensure compliance with all HR regulations and policies.
Key Responsabilities
HRIS Data Management
- Perform data entry, updates, and audits in the HRIS system to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Generate reports and analyze data as requested by HR leadership.
- Maintain system configurations and workflows to optimize HRIS functionality.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Assist with audits and compliance reporting.
- Maintain and update employee files in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Responsible for the employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including coordination of new hire documentation and exit interviews.
- Support compensation, performance management, and training initiatives.
- Administer systems supporting timekeeping, performance, and training management.
- Participate in the implementation of new HR initiatives and programs.
- Identify and suggest process improvements for increased efficiency and compliance.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
- Coordinate with benefits vendors to resolve employee concerns.
- Manage open enrollment processes and ensure compliance with benefits policies.
- Ensure that all changes and updates involving salary are communicated to payroll on a timely basis.
- Serve as a backup to payroll processing, including reviewing timekeeping records, verifying accuracy, and committing payroll for check processing.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR operations or a similar role.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and payroll platforms (experience with PrimePay/SyncHR is a plus).
- Strong understanding of HR compliance and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
