The Payroll Manager is responsible for processing multi-site weekly payroll, ensuring compliance with Federal, State and local regulations. This role manages wages, benefits, deductions, tax withholdings/garnishments while resolving employee inquiries as needed. Proficiency in Paylocity, payroll regulations, and Microsoft applications are essential. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization skills, and experience in payroll administration.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business, Human Resources or Accounting or 5 years of direct experience.
- Payroll Administration experience
- Fluent in all core Microsoft applications
- Fluent in payroll software and systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations
Preferred Experience:
- Paylocity software
- Macola software
- Union experience
- CPP certification
