FTS, in partnership with a leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking a VP of Operations to join its dynamic team!
About the role: This role oversees all operational initiatives, directing and planning activities to ensure alignment with regional operations for optimal efficiency and service excellence. It leads and develops high-performing regional teams to achieve defined objectives, goals, strategies, and performance measures. The position is responsible for implementing both short- and long-term strategies across regions to enhance operational efficiencies throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily operations to ensure optimal patient care and service efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and communicate strategic direction for the organization’s operations division.
- Partner with executive leadership to support company goals by providing insights and guidance on operational projects and systems.
- Collaborate across divisions to drive organizational goals and objectives.
- Maintain a strategic focus on patient satisfaction and anticipate needs related to healthcare trends.
- Leverage strong business acumen in staffing, capacity management, ROI, budgeting, margins, and service offerings to drive operational success.
- Review and approve project cost-control reports, estimates, and staffing requirements.
- Present regular performance reports and metrics to the COO and other executive leaders.
- Tackle complex issues with innovative, proactive solutions by leveraging internal corporate and regional support.
- Identify and coordinate cross-departmental collaboration in strategic initiatives.
- Review best practices and system effectiveness, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Oversee multiple complex lines of service and partnerships with third-party clients.
- Facilitate clear, regular communication across all operations teams to ensure alignment and effective information sharing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree strongly preferred, or equivalent experience with a focus on business operations.
- 10 years of experience in a healthcare or related industry, including at least 5 years in a leadership role with direct people management.
- Proven experience working with medical information management systems.
- Strong background in operational functions.
- Experience in managing healthcare operations within medical, pharmacy, or similar healthcare settings.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Salary : $150,000 - $210,000
