Job Overview

As the DoD Growth Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the advancement of our innovative technology solutions tailored for the Department of Defense.

Your Role

In this influential position, you will leverage your expertise in DoD domains to align our solutions with the dynamic needs of defense initiatives, including CJADC2, Information Advantage, Contested Logistics, and ISR. This collaborative role requires extensive interaction with cross-functional teams in growth, marketing, advisory services, and product development to enhance our impact within the defense landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement a strategic growth plan targeting various DoD agencies.
  • Ensure our technological offerings are in sync with specific mission needs of the DoD.
  • Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within federal agencies.
  • Collaborate with leadership and technical teams to prioritize capture initiatives and refine market strategies.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify opportunities and align solutions with agency requirements, guiding product development initiatives.
  • Deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations to showcase our solutions to prospective clients.
  • Spearhead the creation of essential business development documentation, such as white papers, RFI responses, and proposals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to ensure a competitive advantage.

Required Skills

  • Profound understanding and connections within the DoD and related U.S. government agencies.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills essential for engaging senior-level officials.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain trusted relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Experience in federal/military growth or solutioning, specifically concentrated on the DoD.
  • Familiarity with federal procurement processes, contracting mechanisms, and certifications.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and foster relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Government Relations, Engineering, or a related field (military experience or advanced degree preferred).
  • Secret Clearance (TS Clearance preferred).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in federal/military growth or solutioning focused on the DoD.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage pipelines of opportunities exceeding $25M.
