Job Overview

Join our dynamic organization as a Program Associate, focusing on empowering educators and students to confront issues of racism, antisemitism, and other forms of bigotry through impactful educational programming. This remote role primarily serves the Cleveland area, enabling you to contribute meaningfully to community and educational transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Professional Learning: Conduct engaging workshops and seminars for educators and school leaders, both in-person and online.
• Build Partnerships: Actively recruit new schools and districts to adopt our programs, facilitating introductory sessions to establish valuable partnerships that lead to curriculum and professional learning agreements.
• Cultivate Relationships: Maintain and document consistent communication with educators and school/district leaders, ensuring ongoing support and collaboration.
  
  

Required Skills

• Excellent communication and facilitation capabilities.
• Proven experience in engaging with social-emotional learning, equity initiatives, and culturally responsive teaching.
• Proficient in designing and conducting technology-enabled professional learning experiences, using platforms like Zoom, Canvas, and Google tools.
• Strong organizational skills with an entrepreneurial mindset, adept in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• A reflective attitude and openness to feedback, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of secondary classroom teaching experience (grades 7-12).
• At least 3 years of experience in leading professional development and coaching within educational contexts.
• Familiarity with humanities-based content areas such as U.S. history or English Language Arts.
• Ability to effectively communicate the organization's mission to diverse audiences.
