Key Responsibilities
- Independently evaluate, choose, and implement standard surveying methodologies and practices, utilizing your expertise to adapt for FDOT and other transportation-related endeavors.
- Strategize, schedule, and manage intricate phases of surveying work, whether they are components of larger projects or standalone tasks of moderate complexity.
- Conduct boundary assessments for extensive land surveys, including corridor, route, and sectionalized surveys.
- Facilitate client communications throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring consistent alignment from inception to completion.
- Oversee and coordinate the efforts of surveyors, technicians, and support personnel engaged in specific surveying assignments.
- Review, seal, and maintain professional surveying documentation.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary to ensure project success.
- Active licensure as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in the State of Florida, or the capability to secure licensure within 12 months.
- A minimum of five years of office-based experience with DOT projects.
- Robust technical abilities, including proficiency in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer.
- Extensive experience in Right-of-Way mapping is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related discipline is preferred.
