Key Responsibilities
- Lead the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closure processes, including the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
- Manage audits, tax documentation, statutory reporting, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and organizational standards.
- Deliver precise cash reporting, forecasting, and conduct technical accounting research.
- Streamline and document financial processes, utilizing ERP systems for enhanced scalability and accurate reporting.
- Assess and elevate accounting practices, ensuring efficient operations and robust internal controls.
- Mentor and nurture the accounting team while imparting financial knowledge to the broader business.
- Foster strong interdepartmental relationships to align financial reporting with operational processes.
- Maintain relationships with auditors, advisors, and investors, including overseeing capitalization tables and equity tracking.
- Review cost accounting practices, advance supply chain efficiencies, and enhance visibility into overhead expenditures.
- Implement control programs for operations, capital investments, and cost standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Expertise in cost accounting, data analysis, and variance analysis.
- Advanced capabilities in Excel reporting.
- Exceptional leadership, planning, and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline (mandatory).
- Active CPA license (mandatory).
- 10 years of experience in accounting and/or finance, with a focus on tax, audit, and treasury management (mandatory).
- Experience in ERP design and implementation (preferred).
- 3 years in a Controller or senior-level position (preferred).
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing and cost accounting (preferred).
