Quality Operations Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor production processes, identify variations or defects, and work with production teams to implement corrective actions in real-time.
• Document and maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality-related data. Generate reports on product quality trends, defects, and non-conformance.
• Investigate quality issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Ensure that all processes, equipment, and products meet regulatory and company standards, including safety, environmental, and quality certifications (e.g., ISO, FDA).
• Assist in the training and mentoring of new associates on quality control processes, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in internal and external audits, as well as pre-production and final product inspections.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to quality processes, workflows, and systems to optimize production efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a quality assurance or manufacturing environment. Experience in product testing, inspection, or process auditing is preferred.
• Proficiency with measuring tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges), and familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies, defects, and non-conformances quickly and accurately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document findings and report issues effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes of problems and implement practical solutions.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to [X] pounds, and work in a manufacturing environment that may involve exposure to noise, temperature variations, and equipment.
