This critical role within the IFF Global Logistics COE will enhance and streamline business processes, drive efficiencies, achieve cost savings, and improve warehousing and transportation services across IFF’s global operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, map, and implement improvements in key workstreams: warehousing, air, marine, and road transportation.
- Engage with local sites to map current processes and translate them into optimal solutions, focusing on value creation for IFF.
- Translate business requirements, manage scope and complexity, and drive testing sign-off.
- Develop and implement business processes and systems to close gaps and deliver higher service levels at reduced costs.
- Lead workstream projects, using project management skills to structure, describe, and present complex issues and solutions.
- Work with technical teams to design and support a Transportation Management System (TMS) solution.
- Provide functional and technical perspectives to the core workstream.
- Develop workflows, troubleshoot issues, and train super users and end users on updated business processes and system usage.
- Facilitate business sessions to align priorities, requirements, design, testing, training, and project steps for successful deployment and stabilization.
- Complete tasks assigned by the Leadership Team while working independently.
- Attend mandatory on-site travel (25%).
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
- 6 years of logistics experience within the food manufacturing industry, including 5 years leading complex SAP/TMS implementations.
- Project management experience with proficient EDI and ERP skills.
- Experience with 3PL and 4PL providers, and strong expertise in designing and optimizing logistics processes within SAP.
- Ability to manage diverse stakeholders in a multi-functional environment.
- Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
