Summary: The Employer & Community Engagement Professional will collaborate with businesses and employers in the communities that JOG serves to develop and maintain partnerships while identifying quality employment opportunities for participants.
Essential Functions:
- Network with potential employers by utilizing established partnerships, community resources, and previous work program participation.
- Creatively market, develop, and coordinate paid and unpaid work-based learning experiences for JOG participants.
- Development and connection to Community Based Organizations and/or Resources that can provide resources to our clients.
- Partner with Coordinators to determine work-ready students and prepare them to enter the workforce through weekly and monthly updates using work-readiness forms.
- Partner with Specialists to determine the appropriate career pathway opportunity for candidates.
- Standard work week is M-F 8:00a-4:30p – flexible times when needed for work-related events.
- Flexible work location - Local, daytime travel is occasionally required within a four-county radius.
- Communicate JOG core values and commitment to education and community development.
- Network Marketing and Recruiting experience preferred.

- Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
