Job Description
- Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- Internal Controls, and The Kalispel Casino Policies and Procedures.
- Greets everyone at all times. Smiles, makes eye contact and verbally greets guests and team members from arrival to the property through departure.
- Maintains an unwavering positive and friendly demeanor at all times in all circumstances. Demonstrates the highest level of guest service and attention to detail.
- Achieve a thorough understanding of all food and beverage related products, services, menus and prices.
- Greet guests in a friendly manner, take their beverage and food orders, serve the orders, clear all dishes & glassware from their table and present the guest check.
- Use the point of sale (POS) system to process guest orders and payments as trained
- Collect payment from the guest and provide change when necessary.
- Keep payments orderly and neat throughout your shift.
- Educate the guests about the daily specials and answer any questions they may have.
- Maintain assigned sections and workstations.
- Assist other servers with all of the above to ensure total Teamwork.
- Complete all side work in a timely and satisfactory manner to ensure a clean, neat work area with adequate supply level.
- Complies with liquor laws and regulatory guidelines. Declines orders from those showing visible signs of intoxication, reports intoxication in accordance with departmental procedures.
- Provides service of alcohol within the guidelines set forth by the MAST program.
- Properly check identification of any guest appearing underage for gaming and alcohol service.
- Communicate with your supervisor to resolve any guest questions in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and stocked server station.
- Correctly performs all necessary paperwork shifts end including daily record keeping of tips.
- Attend all training meetings.
- Assist in other projects, as directed.

Education, Experience & Other Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One to three months related experience and/or training helpful; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working as a waiter/waitress preferred.
- Ability to handle cash and give proper change.
- Ability to learn and operate the POS system.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License.
- Valid health card.
- Hepatitis A vaccination.
- Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification.
- Job offer contingent upon successful completion of background check and pre-employment screening.
