Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine land boundaries, topography, and other features. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and the ability to utilize advanced surveying technology. The Land Surveyor will work closely with project managers and other professionals to ensure accurate data collection and analysis for various projects.
Duties
- Conduct land surveys using various surveying instruments and technologies, including Trimble and Carlson equipment.
- Prepare detailed survey reports and maps using CAD software.
- Analyze data collected from surveys to determine land boundaries, elevations, and other critical information.
- Collaborate with civil engineers and project managers to provide accurate survey data for construction projects.
- Utilize software such as Civil 3D and ArcGIS for data analysis and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards during all surveying activities.
- Perform calculations involving algebra to assist in the interpretation of survey data.
- Maintain accurate records of surveys, including field notes, sketches, and photographs.
Skills
- Proficiency in land surveying techniques and principles.
- Experience with CAD software for drafting and design purposes.
- Familiarity with Civil 3D for civil engineering applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform algebraic calculations.
