Essential Functions:
- Manage the accounting and finance needs for multiple clients, varying in size and complexity.
- Oversee the preparation of general ledger journal entries, fixed asset tracking, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements in conformity with GAAP.
- Regular communication with clients to review their financial and accounting activities.
- Complete and manage various accounting related projects for multiple clients.
- Manage client work and produce deliverables.
- Maintain strong client relationships and be able to develop and build client confidence.
- Assist and train junior staff; this includes assistance with solving problems and taking an active role in staff development.
- 3-5 years' experience in public accounting, demonstrating a proven progression in complexity, scope, and research.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
- Licensed CPA or CPA candidate, helpful but not required.
- Capable of preparing and completing more complex projects.
- Demonstrates advanced technical knowledge necessary for advising clients.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Adobe Acrobat products.
- Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively.
- Strong communication, client service, and organizational skills.
