Campground Maintenance

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our campsites, landscapes, gardens, and outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of groundskeeping practices. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Your office is the great outdoors in the beautiful NH White Mountains region. We have two incredible rivers that run through the property!

Duties

• Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various gardening tasks.
• Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through planting, pruning, and fertilizing.
• Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
• Assist in the installation of new features as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling chemicals.

Experience

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or maintenance is required.
• Familiarity with power tools such as lawnmowers, blowers, hand tools and other maintenance tools and equipment is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of grounds/building/maintenance techniques including electrical/plumbing/building & repair is desirable.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
