Position Overview : We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support our finance team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will manage key aspects of the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor communication, while maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal policies. Key Responsibilities :
- Collect, review, and verify receipts and supporting documentation for payments.
- Process and pay vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all payments are properly authorized and approved before disbursement.
- Manage and maintain accounts payable records, including organizing and filing invoices.
- Reconcile statements and accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
- Assist with the preparation of accounts payable reports as needed.
- Work closely with other departments to obtain approvals and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Assist with maintaining financial controls, including proper documentation and approvals for all transactions.
- Provide support to the Accounts Receivable team as needed, including assisting with customer billing and collections when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
