Landscape Contruction Foreman/Supervisor

Expectations:

Provide expertise by assisting in the development and implementation of customer service.

Provide ongoing support to all personnel under their supervision, assisting them in completing their task when necessary.

Being responsible for maintaining controls and procedures pertinent to the job at hand for each employee and job description while ensuring a safe work environment.

Requirements:

• 4 or more years experience in Landscape Contruction
• Knowledge of industry standards for landscape contruction including, but not limited to, retaining walls, paver patios, outdoor landscape lighting
• Experience with different irrigation systems is a big plus
• Being able to operate different large pieces of equipment such as front end loaders, mini excavators, etc.
• Communication skills are a must. You will be communicating with multiple different crews throughout the day
• Basic computer skills, mainly focusing on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Being able to keep accurate records, inventory levels, and materials used.
• Ability to train employees to company standards

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting of up to 75lbs
• The work is done outdoors, hot, cold, wet, etc.
• Winter care experience i.e. plowing/salting etc. is a plus.

Required education:

• High school or equivalent.

Required license or certification:

• Operator’s license with ability to get Chauffeurs Driver’s License within first 45 days.

Compensation:

• $17 / hour or salaried pay options are available based on experience
• Weekly checks if hourly
• Benefit options include IRA, health, dental, and optical insurance options available after 90 days.
