What are the responsibilities and job description for the EAP Case Manager - PRN position at McLaughlin Young Employee Services?
The EAP Case Manager position plays a critical role by offering support and case management when employees and family members call for services. They may provide management consultations to client organizations when addressing a workplace performance issue or responding to a crisis in the workplace. This position is PRN (scheduled "as needed") weekdays between 8am-5pm ET. Payment is on an hourly basis; please indicate your rate. Training will be in office (Charlotte NC); once trained, will work remote.
Responsibilities
- Assess client needs and link them to providers or community resources
- Establish and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients and providers
- Communicate via phone, video conferencing, and email
- Provide excellent customer service including follow-up
- Maintain case notes
- Comply with procedures to ensure confidentiality and security (e.g., HIPAA)
Qualifications
Requirements
- Master’s or doctorate degree
- 3 years’ post-masters experience in a mental health field
- Clinical licensure in the state of North Carolina (associate-level will be considered)
Preferences
- Comfortable working with a team
- Organized and able to multi-task and manage well under stressful situations
- Customer service experience including phone-based
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn EAP software
- EAP experience and CEAP credential
