THE JOB:
The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager provides strategic direction and oversight to the company’s enterprise-level security communications platform in a 24/7/365 environment. The GSOC Manager is responsible for leading a team to monitor and respond to incidents and risks that may impact the operations of the company and oversees communications to MGMRI Leadership through timely notifications. The GSOC Manager provides support in safeguarding MGMRI corporate facilities and corporate security programs.
THE DAY TO DAY:
- Serves as the key decision maker for critical incident communication to internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, security operations, law enforcement partners, and non-MGMRI resort security consumers.
- Coach and mentor direct reports to identify efficient processes and develop talent.
- Provides input to Director GSOC on the long-term direction and strategy of GSOC operations, including informing policy and procedures, defining objectives and KPI's, and reporting and interpreting metrics leading to continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with other MGMRI Corporate departments, including Corporate Communications, Risk Management, Fraud Control, and Facilities to provide information pertaining to critical incidents.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with strategic partners in law enforcement, intelligence, other resort corridor security entities, and other gaming, hospitality, and entertainment industry peers.
- Represent MGMRI as a member of collaborative groups of GSOC leaders across industry to share best practices.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Two (2) years' experience working as an Investigative Analyst, Intelligence Analyst or similar position.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- State of Nevada Gaming license
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
