The Human Resources Scheduling Coordinator will provide administrative and scheduling support to the Misericordia Human Resources department to ensure job candidates, new hires and visitors are supported throughout. The Scheduling Coordinator will work closely with a variety of HR staff including HR Coordinators, Directors and the Recruitment team to create attainable scheduling appointments.

Our Human Resources department is currently hiring for a Scheduling Coordinator.
The Human Resources Scheduling Coordinator will provide administrative and scheduling support to the Misericordia Human Resources department to ensure job candidates, new hires and visitors are supported throughout. The Scheduling Coordinator will work closely with a variety of HR staff including HR Coordinators, Directors and the Recruitment team to create attainable scheduling appointments.
Responsibilities
- Maintains employee confidence and protects the facility by keeping human resource information confidential.
- Knowledge of all office equipment and computer software including phone, copiers, fax machine and camera for staff I.D.s
- Develop and implement efficient scheduling process for New Hire Pre-Employment Appointments, Recruitment Interviews and other HR appointments/interviews, as assigned.
- Schedule appointments for new hire pre-employment candidates, distributing new hire paperwork, if applicable.
- Create/prepare application sets and assist with making NH folders and packets, as needed.
- Knowledgeable of internal job postings and advising interested party of available positions and note applications available in-person or on Misericordia’s website.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and handling last-minute changes or cancellations and making the appropriate colleague aware of changes.
- Organizing meetings, appointments and events by coordinating spaces and times.
- Communicating with HR team members to determine scheduling needs and preferences
- Maintain records of schedules, attendance and employee availability
- Using scheduling software or tools to keep track of schedules and changes
- Ensure confidentiality and privacy of all schedules
- Ensure schedules are followed and deadlines are met
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma required
- Proven work experience as a Scheduling Coordinator or similar role
- Ability to communicate information in a clear and concise matter
- Strong organization and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in scheduling software and tools
- Ability to manage a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
