Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Analyst – Transplantation
In this role, you will have the opportunity to build, maintain and manage relational databases ensuring data integrity and security. You will oversee data collection, manage diverse databases and quality dashboards, and monitor the quality of information in these databases. This role will organize data in appropriate file formats for quantitative and statistical analysis. You will utilize tools such as SQL, Python to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various data sources into data warehouses. This individual will develop visualizations such as charts, graphs, maps, and dashboards to present data in a clear and concise manner utilizing software such as Power BI. This role will develop and implement data models and algorithms to improve data quality and usability.
In addition, there is a component of external data registry reporting tasks to abstract information from the medical record and report to the clinical registry.
This position is based out of our corporate office in Midtown Manhattan with possible travel to any of our NYP sites and will be full-time Monday to Friday. Hybrid Schedule includes 4 days in office and 1 day remote.

Preferred Criteria
- Masters Degree in Public Health
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Background in clinical data abstraction
- Experience working collaboratively across multi-functional teams
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in SQL, SAS, or Python
- Excellent computer skills
- Demonstrate excellent writing and communication skills
- Exhibits strong research and analytical skills including collecting, analyzing and summarizing data into identifiable trends
