Our client, a food manufacturing company, is looking for a bookkeeper with a thorough understanding of accounting to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Code and enter vendor and expense invoices
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Record daily transactions, including sales, deposits, and income
- Reconcile cash registers and company accounts
- Track payroll data and process payroll
- Fact-check accounting data
- Maintain the general ledger
- Handle all of the company's banking needs, including reconciling monthly bank statements and monitoring cash flow
- Utilize the appropriate accounting software to manage and automate financial tasks when relevant.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in accounting management
- Knowledge of and ability to learn essential accounting software
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis tools
- A general understanding of the main accounting principles, such as accruals and revenue
- Strong attention to detail and level of accuracy
- QuickBooks & ERP experience is a must
Location: This role is ideally a hybrid opportunity (1 day in office), but flexible for a fully remote opportunity if necessary.
