Duties Description:
These positions are located in the Engineering Technology Unit (ETU) in the Office of Design. Under the direction of a higher-level supervisor duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the Department's Engineering Document Management System (ProjectWise)
- Collect and analyze technology usage, process, quality, information technologies, and organizational effectiveness data required to assess performance and make recommendations to Office of Design Managers
- Use various department-wide technologies, computer databases, systems, and other applications for the timely collection and analysis of data
- Monitor and report on statewide trends to ensure that desired goals and targets are being achieved
- Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining systems (including the Engineering Document Management System), procedures, and manuals in support of capital project development and delivery
- Promote and manage statewide best practices through proper use of CADD (Computer-Aided Design and Drafting) applications during the project development and design process
- Act as the IT coordinator for the Office of Design
Requirements
Bachelor's degree including or supplemented by 24 qualifying semester credit hours*
