Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client is searching for a highly driven Accounts Payable Clerk at its El Cajon, CA location. The company is a government contracting firm focused on responding to solicitations for life-saving technology to government agencies and Fortune 500 companies. They provide laboratory, facilities maintenance, safety and security, and office supplies to many of the government agencies within the State of California. Their company culture is fun, energetic, and fast-paced.

The accounts payable clerk will be primarily responsible for entering and monitoring the many invoices, bills and expenses they recieve from their vendors on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office administration and be comfortable working with financial documents. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices, preparing payments, reconciling accounts, and providing general administrative support. They are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is able to work independently and take initiative in order to ensure the accuracy of our accounts payable process.

 Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and payments in a timely manner.
• Ensure accuracy of  financial data.
• Maintain accounts payable records.
• Reconcile vendor statements.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable records.
• Manage vendor relationships.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries.
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,600.00 - $60,320.00 per year
