We are looking for a full-time Medical Billing Specialist to join our customer-focused, supportive billing team.
- Position: DME Billing Specialist
- Location: Remote (Ohio & Kentucky)
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Duties Include:
- Claim submission & follow up through Brightree or insurance portals
- Collecting and posting payments in patient accounts
- Contacting customers regarding outstanding balances
- Resolving partial payment or denials from insurance companies
- Taking customer orders, answering claims questions, and performing other accounts receivable duties
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and demonstrated initiative
- Ability to problem solve and work independently
- Technical skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel
- Previous medical billing experience preferred
