- We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Medical Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our healthcare team * The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding patient diagnoses and procedures, managing medical records, and ensuring that billing processes comply with regulations * This role is essential in facilitating the financial operations of our medical practice while maintaining the integrity of patient information * Review and analyze patient records to determine appropriate coding for diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10 and DRG systems * Accurately input codes into medical billing software, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, coding guidelines, and billing practices * Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies in documentation or coding * Manage medical collections by following up on unpaid claims and resolving billing issues * Ensure the confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations * Assist in maintaining organized medical records for easy retrieval and compliance audits
