IT Manager

Role

PDW is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our team, contributing to ensure the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will thrive working in an innovative and fast-paced work environment, have a strong technical background, have excellent critical thinking skills, and will play a pivotal role in managing the IT team, overseeing IT projects, and ensuring cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage IT team to include training and performance evaluation.
• Provide technical guidance, stay updated on IT trends, and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Manage the full Microsoft 365 suite of services to include Entra, Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Conditional Access, Security and Compliance, Azure Virtual Machines and other Azure services as needed.
• Manage all SaaS applications, Windows/Linux servers, and network infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain robust security measures and respond to security incidents.
• Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage IT vendor relationships and contracts.
• Develop and manage the IT department’s budget.
• Provide regular reports on IT operations, projects, and budget to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 Years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
• Strong technical expertise in the full Microsoft 365 suite and knowledge of IT systems and network engineering.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Certification in IT Management or a related field (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is preferred.

ITAR Requirement  

In compliance with International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR), candidates must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) or individuals granted asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Physical Requirements

This role may require periods of sitting, standing, and walking in an office environment. This position may also involve occasional physical activities such as bending, reaching, and kneeling to access equipment or cabling. The ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds is necessary for tasks such as moving hardware, servers, or other IT-related equipment. This role may include extended use of computers, monitors, and other office equipment, necessitating good manual dexterity and vision.
