What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatch/Customer Service Representative position at Premium Transport Staffing?
20.00 to $23.00 per hour based on experience.
Monday-Friday 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm
Job Summary : Answer phones, take orders from customers, prepare proposals as need. Work in conjunction with dispatch / operations. Always looking to offer assistance as needed in order to help maintain a smooth flow of the Company’s business. Customer is always right and we are here to provide the best customer service experience.
JOB DUTIES :
- Assign Daily Stop to Stop Routes
- Handle Driver Problems
- Answer telephone – direct phone calls
- General assistance as needed
- Customer service as needed
- Order taking as needed
- Process drivers’ daily paperwork
- Any additional duties as assigned by management
- Navigational Skills – Must have general knowledge of the Greater Los Angeles Metropolitan Area freeway system. Must understand Google Maps and have GPS experience.
- Communication skills (verbal and written) – ability to convey meaning and obtain understanding
- Communication skills – Bilingual
- Organizational skills – ability to group work and resources in relation to the work being done, prioritizing, and scheduling.
- People skills – ability to effectively relate to customers and employees in all organizational levels, being sensitive to their needs
- Conceptual skills – ability to see entire operation objectives ensuring that individual programs work within the framework of the company’s objectives
- Customer relations – ability to relate to customers with an attitude of friendliness while conveying confidence in the company’s professionalism
