We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site, Administrative Assistant in our School of Polytechnic. This position provides office support, serves as a frontline resource, and is the primary contact for the school. The pay for this position is $14.10/hr.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Generate, prepare, and distribute letters, memos, budget projects, syllabi, tests, reports, faculty reviews, and other documents.
- Assist, advise, troubleshoot, and support school course registration.
- Provide administrative support to supervisors, faculty, and director of school.
- Schedule, attend, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes of department meetings.
- Assist in the coordination and preparation of employment forms, contracts, and payroll forms.
- Design and create marketing display and notices.
- Oversee and maintain school computers and printers.
- Maintain website and social media sites.
- Initiate, oversee, and prepare booklists and desk-copies.
- Collect and digitally store assessment data.
Required Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in a general or administrative role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel.
- Excellent oral and verbal communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to take initiative to ensure effective and efficient service.
