**Job Summary:**
As a Junior Business/Financial Analyst, you will support the finance and business analysis teams in conducting research, analyzing data, and providing insights that drive informed decision-making. This role is ideal for an entry level candidate who is detail-oriented, passionate about finance and business analysis, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of financial and operational data.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for management.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and validating relevant information.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide analytical support for various projects.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in developing dashboards to visualize performance.
- Participate in the development of financial models to assess business performance and assist in decision-making.
- Assist in preparing materials for internal and external stakeholders, including financial reporting and audits.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of analysis and methodologies used.
**Skills and Competencies:**
- - Must be able to use SQL to data mine and extract data across database
- - Must be able to clearly communicate analysis, methodology, and assumptions;
- - Monitors trends and planning scenarios
- - Exceptionally strong in utilizing EXCEL and other Microsoft programs,
- - Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills;
- - Process oriented and understands process flows
- - Expected to deliver results in a fast past, team oriented work environment.
- - Demonstrates proficiency with data collection, data relationship modeling and statistical analysis
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or a related area (internships are acceptable).
