SUMMARY:
The Slot Technician tests function of electronic assemblies, components, and parts according to established procedures. Responsible for the preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of all slot machines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repairs malfunctioning slot machines and equipment.
- Operates electronic test equipment as required to facilitate repairs.
- Uses small tools to effect installation and repair of slot machines and other equipment.
- Prepares records and reports describing types of repair work and preventative maintenance performed.
- Replaces defective components or repairs defective wiring testing.
- Cleans slot areas as required.
- Adheres to all regulatory, departmental and casino policies and procedures and the casino MICS.
- Must adhere to the safety rules and regulations of the Running Creek Casino and of the Slot Operations Department.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and Certification
Required:
· At least 21 years of age
· High school diploma or GED required
· 1 years previous slot technician experience or Electronic technology background
Or
Certificate of completion from a Slot Technical program

- Strong computer skills with experience in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets (ability to demonstrate proficiency)
