What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President of Sales position at SeaDream Yacht Club?

We are looking for a dynamic Vice President of Sales with a proven track record of success in leading high-performing sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality and luxury sectors, with a preference for experience in the cruise industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and hold accountable a global sales team of 10 representatives with a primary focus on the United States market.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Design and establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor new sales representatives as needed.
  • Travel and spend time in the field with the team to ensure their success.
  • Develop and implement customer-centric compensation plans to motivate the team.
  • Keep abreast of new technology trends to stay competitive and innovative.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a successful sales leader in the hospitality or luxury industry. Cruise industry experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills in English (native level proficiency), both written and verbal.
  • Strong technology skills with an understanding of the importance of staying updated in a fast-paced tech environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to inspire, motivate, and hold a team accountable.
  • Willingness to travel and spend time in the field with the sales team.
  • Legally able to live and work in the United States and hold a valid passport.
  • Proven experience in creating and managing compensation plans is a plus.
  • A competitive spirit and a determination to achieve and exceed sales targets.
