Job Description
The Foundations Operations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the SCTCC Foundation in its mission to provide the necessary financial and community resources to support the strategic goals of the College.
This position is essential to the Foundation in the key areas of communications, operations, gift processing, donor stewardship, special events and sponsorships, scholarship program management, alumni engagement and administrative support to the Vice President of Advancement.
Salary Range: $23.63 - $34.18 per hour, $49,339 - $71,368 per year
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of related experience. Masters degree may substitute for 18 months of experience; Bachelor’s degree may substitute for one year of experience; Associates degree may substitute for six months of experience
- Demonstrated strong planning and analytical skills.
- Experience with computer systems and reporting (i.e. database queries, forms).
- Experience with data practices and an understanding of best practices with sensitive data.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to maintain positive relationships with donors, students, parents, and colleagues; strong conflict resolution skills a must.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines to comply with regulatory standards.
- Must be dependable, organized and extremely accurate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree (or above) in Accounting or related area.
- Working Knowledge of current Federal and State financial aid programs and eligibility processes.
- Documented ability to interpret and apply state and federal regulations and legal definitions as directed.
- Demonstrated organizational and communications skills. Excellent understanding of marketing and communications.
- Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to recognize opportunities for giving.
Other Requirements
In accordance with the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (Minnesota State) Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota State’s vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
